by Mark Turner The White County High School cross country teams will end the season Saturday at the Class AAA state meet in Carrollton. The WCHS girls and boy's team both survived the state sectional last week in Ringgold and will now be in the field in the race for the state title trophies.

WCMS begins winter schedule

by Mark Turner The winter sports season has tipped off for the White County Middle School basketball, wrestling and tennis teams. The middle school winter schedules run though November and December for the teams as they compete for North Georgia Mountain League titles.
The TMU women's soccer team, shown during Senior Day activities, won their fourth consecutive Appalachian Athletic Conference regular season title this fall and begin the hunt for the fourth consecutive conference tournament title this weekend. The Lady Bears are No. 11 in the NAIA national poll, the highest ranking in program history. TMU ATHLETICS
