WCHS wrestlers eye area, state success

GHSA sets new regions

Climb the Hill

by Mark Turner For the past five months, the White County High School cross country teams have spent a lot of time running the hills around the area. Last weekend at the Class AAA state meet in Carrollton, the time spent training on the hills paid off in a big way, especially for the girl's squad.

WCMS basketball post wins

The wins are starting pile up for the White County Middle School basketball teams. Over the past week, the seventh and eighth grade teams have been battling Pickens, Dawson County and Habersham on the court, and all four the school's teams have been able to pick up wins.

Warriors end season with big win

  by Mark Turner The White County Warriors closed out the 2025 high school football season on a high note, celebrating Senior Night with a 55-8 win over Johnson. The win was the Warriors' third in the last four weeks of the season.
