by Eric Tiongson White County News   When Tasha Fleming posted a photo of an old pottery kiln on a social media sale page, she didn’t expect a ton of interest. She just wanted to get it off her hands.

News finds new editor/publisher

Staff Report   Veteran journalist Patrick Fargason has been named editor/publisher of the White County News. Community Newspapers Inc. Regional Publisher Keith Barlow made the announcement Dec. 18. Fargason will start in White County in early January.
The public hearings will be held on Jan. 28, Jan. 30, and Feb. 11. The Jan. 28 hearing will be held at 7:45 a.m., and the Feb. 11 will be held at 8 a.m.

Funeral home scam calls hit locals
