Warriors put on the pads; prep for scrimmage

In nine days, the White County Warriors' football team will step on the field for the first time, taking on East Forsyth in a preseason scrimmage. The matchup with Forsyth County's newest high school program will give the Warriors a chance to see where they are at heading into the 2021 season.

Talented roster fuels Lady Warriors' state playoff aspirations

For the past two months, the White County High School softball team has put in a lot of time on the field and the weight room getting ready for the 2021 season. Now it's time to reap the rewards of all the summer work.

Warriors ready to tip off summer hoops schedule

Things are about to get busy for the White County Warriors basketball team. After getting a few days off thanks to the Georgia High School Association's first Dead Week of the summer, the Warriors will dive into their summer schedule next week.

The start of White County High School's graduation May 28 has been delayed an hour due to impending inclement weather, according to a Friday afternoon announcement. The event will now begin at 9 p.m. instead of the originally scheduled 8 p.m. Stadium gates will open at 7 p.m.

Warriors hold spring practice, look to reload

When spring football practice began last week at White County High School, things looked a little different. For the first time since Tim Cokely took over the program, he walked out on the practice field without the Class of 2021 players.

White County sweeps 7-AAA track team titles

It appears the White County track teams made history last week by capturing both Region 7-AAA track titles. According to WCHS head coach Jake Cantrell, winning both the boys and girls' titles in the same year is rare, and may not have ever been done in the program's history.
