Glenda Taylor is being remembered for her dedication to others, both as business owner and as a friend with a servant’s heart who gave back to the community. Taylor, the owner of Glenda’s restaurant, passed away Sunday, Aug. 16, at age 66.

On Wednesday, Aug. 19, White County School System provided a COVID-19 update. In the information released, it said out of the 3,707 students enrolled, two have reported positive COVID-19 test results. There are 15 students quarantined for possible exposure.

JROTC student takes early start to military career

Tori McDuffie, a rising senior at White County High School, recently completed basic training over the summer through the Army National Guard’s Split Training Option. McDuffie is battalion commander for the high school JROTC and part of the WCHS Raider competition squad.
