TMU baseball players earn league awards

Four members of the Truett McConnell baseball team picked up some awards this week from the Appalachian Athletic Conference. Josh Johnston has been named to the All-AAC first team, while Andrew Johnston and Brooks Rosser are pair of the All-AAC second team.

MCES Beta Club wins several state convention awards

The Mossy Creek Elementary School Beta Club has some new hardware. Members recently competed in the virtual state competition, said Detecia Oosthuizen, club sponsor. Students entered 21 categories, capturing honors in seven of them, including first place in color photography.
