There have been 1,055 total confirmed COVID-19 cases in White County since the start of the pandemic, according to the update on Sunday, Nov. 8, on the Georgia Department of Public Health's website. In White County there have been 115 hospitalizations and 26 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

Search continues for missing Cleveland man

The search continues for a missing Cleveland man. Tam Thank Mai was last seen on Oct. 16 in the Helen area and was reported missing on Oct. 22, said White County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Clay Hammond. One search has been conducted for him, and another one will take place.

White County has had over 1,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. According to the Tuesday, Nov. 3, report from the Georgia Department of Public Health, White County has 1,031 confirmed cases, and 12 antigen positive cases.
