A newly renovated addition to downtown Cleveland is open, which will eventually be home to three businesses. The Cleveland Drug Plaza on West Kytle Street, owned by local businessman Ray Black, welcomed Nate’s Barbershop as its first occupant March 2.

A mother has been arrested and charged with murder in connection to the death of her 19-month-old child. Quinn Riley Wood, 21 of Cleveland, has been charged with murder, aggravated battery and cruelty to children, the White County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday morning, March 2.

White Creek finishes season with tourney title

White Creek Christian Academy recently capped off the high school basketball season by winning The Knight's Court Classic championship in Ellijay. The Eagles won four games on the way to the title, knocking Crossroads Academy 74-65 in the championship game.
