A free little library is coming to the Cleveland City Park/Woodman of the World Park Cleveland City Council members unanimously approved the library box after hearing a presentation from Daniel Ratigan, with Boy Scout Troop 140.

CPD is Agency of Year for traffic safety work

The Cleveland Police Department was recently recognized for its work in traffic safety. The CPD was named Agency of the Year on Sept. 9 by the Northeast Traffic Enforcement Network (NETEN), which falls under the Georgia Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.

The rate of new confirmed COVID-19 cases in White County declined over the past week, though it remains on par with elevated levels seen last winter. The seven-day moving average of confirmed cases for the county was at a rate of 22.1 cases per day according to a Sept.

The White County High School cross country teams took part in the third annual North Hall Invitational last week in Gainesville. The Lady Warriors put together a solid effort, finishing third among 11 teams in the girl's division, while the Warriors were 10th in the boy's race.
