A single vehicle accident on Monday evening resulted in two people being transported to the hospital. According to Cleveland Fire Department Chief Rick Pruitt, at approximately 7:30 p.m.

There have been 88 total confirmed COVID-19 cases in White County since the start of the pandemic, according to the 1 p.m. update on Monday, May 11, on the Georgia Department of Public Health's website. In White County there have been 18 hospitalizations and one death attributed to COVID-19.

Pets of the week for the week of May 11 from  Charles Smithgall Humane Society. At Charles Smithgall Humane Society, Pete is a six-year-old plott hound/boxer mix. He weighs 50 pounds. Pete is a love. He walks well on a leash and enjoys being out and about. He’s a quiet and calm dog.
