The Georgia Department of Public Health is reporting that White County has had its first confirmed death attributed to COVID-19, according to the 9:25 a.m. update Tuesday, May 5, on the state Public Health website. The deceased was a 95-year-old woman with "chronic conditions," according to DPH.
There have been 32 recovered COVID-19 cases in White County as of noon on Monday, May 4.
