Pets of the week for the week of Dec. 9 from White County Animal Control and Charles Smithgall Humane Society. At White County Animal Control, Mr. Grey is a male and is about 3-years-old. Mr .Grey would be a wonderful lap cat, because he loves to cuddle so much! Mr.

The 17th Annual Community Christmas Dinner is planned for Wednesday, Dec. 25, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Sautee Nacoochee Cultural Center at 283 Ga. 255. A traditional meal will be served, and donations of turkeys, hams and fixings are needed, along with monetary donations to cover expenses.

A Sautee Nacoochee man suspects he was attacked by a rabid coyote while recently hiking on Yonah Mountain. Charlie Williams says he was on the backside of the mountain, with a view of Duncan Bridge Road, to check out creeks and boulders on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 30, when the incident happened.
