WC softball squad clinches state spot

Just a couple of months ago, it didn't look like there was much of a chance that the fall sports were going to be played, but now the White County High School softball team is getting ready for the Class AAA state tournament.
There have been 892 total confirmed COVID-19 cases in White County since the start of the pandemic, according to the update  on Sunday, Oct. 4, on the Georgia Department of Public Health's website.

League lifts TMU to wins

The Truett McConnell women's soccer team won a pair of tight games over the past week to push their record to 2-0-1 this fall. Last Saturday, the Lady Bears dominated their match with Union College, but had a hard time getting a shot to go in the net before a late goal gave the squad a 1-0 win.
