White County emergency crews had to conduct a tricky mountain rescue at Raven Cliffs Trailhead on Sunday, Sept. 27. White County 9-1-1 received a call around 11:30 a.m. about a woman feeling nauseous and lethargic, said White County Public Safety Director David Murphy.

Remembering Joey Kastner

by Wayne Hardy and Stephanie Hill   Joey Kastner is being remembered for the impact he made as a professional, coach, friend and family man. Kastner, White County’s animal control division chief, passed away Friday, Sept. 18, after a reported battle with COVID-19. He was 36.
