Charges are pending in a two-vehicle wreck involving a motorcycle and car on Wednesday, Oct. 7, and injuring two people. According to the Georgia State Patrol, the wreck happened around 7:30 p.m. at Ga. 115 and Town Creek Road.

Lady Warriors finish second

The Runners Fit Mountain Invitational has grown into one of the top cross country meets in the state over the past decade, and this year's meet turned out to be another successful chapter in the race's history despite having to deal with Covid and some messy weather.

The White County Lady Warriors' volleyball team wrap up the best regular season in the history of the program today, and then will immediately turn their attention to the Area 7-AAA tournament, which will be played in Cleveland next week.
