WCMS shuts out Fannin, 18-0

The White County Middle School football used a stellar defensive effort last week to win its first league title in more than a decade. The Warriors (6-1) closed out the year with an 18-0 win over Fannin County, giving the Warriors the Mountain Athletic Conference eighth-grade championship.

Authorities are searching for Tam Thank Mai, a Cleveland man who has been reported as missing. According to the White County Sheriff's Office, he was last seen in the area of Helen, Georgia. Mai is 5'11, weighs 165 pounds, has black hair, and brown eyes.
