White County has had over 1,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. According to the Tuesday, Nov. 3, report from the Georgia Department of Public Health, White County has 1,031 confirmed cases, and 12 antigen positive cases.

Authorities responded to a late night structure fire on Monday, Nov. 2. According to White County Public Safety Director David Murphy, at approximately 11:30 p.m., White County Fire Services responded to a report of a structure fire on Adventure Way in Mountain Lakes.

Warrior defense blanks West Hall, 35-0

After a pair of tough losses to start the region schedule, the White County Warriors righted the ship last Friday night, celebrating Homecoming with a 35-0 victory over West Hall. The Warriors improved to 5-2 with the win, and 1-2 in 7-AAA play.
