A three-car accident on Saturday, Feb. 22, resulted in two juveniles being life flighted. According to a Cpl. Joshua Hedden with Georgia State Patrol Post 6, the accident occurred at approximately 12:10 p.m. on Ga. 11 (U.S. 129) and Joe Turner Road.

An incident involving a rabid raccoon in the area of Stovall Road is the second rabies case in White County for 2020. According to White County Environmental Health Manager Sean Sullivan, a pet owner said his two dogs dropped a dead raccoon on their driveway when they came back from roaming.
