The Truett McConnell University men's and women's track & field teams recorded three new program records at the Embry-Riddle Indoor-Outdoor Challenge last weekend in the opening meet of the 2020 season.

Bears open season with 16-5 win

The Truett McConnell University baseball team opened the 2020 season in dominating fashion Tuesday in Toccoa, blasting Toccoa Falls College 16-5. After two scoreless innings, senior Evan Bensch opened up the third inning with a solo home run.

Warriors fall to Chestatee, Denmark

The White County Warriors wrap up the regular season Friday with a road trip to Flowery Branch. The Warriors head into the game looking to finish off the season on a high note after dropping a pair of Region 7-AAAA games in the last week to Chestatee and Denmark.

Lady Warriors clinch second place spot

The White County Lady Warriors will be in familiar surroundings when the Region 7-AAAA tournament tips off next week. The Lady Warriors posted a pair of region wins over the past week to lock up second place in the region standings and earn the host spot for the girls' first round games.

Wrestlers excel at Burnt Classic; set for region Saturday

The hay is in the barn for the White County High School wrestling team. For the past two months, the Warrior wrestlers have been building toward the three most important tournaments of the season.
